Veteran potter and ceramicist Cathy Gerson studied in New England at the Museum School and continues to operate a studio in her country barn. Her company, Ceramic Design, was started in 1973, and produces a functional art and pottery line for Galleries and Craft stores nationwide.

  Ms. Gerson is also known as an innovative glaze chemist who develops new colors annually. In addition to her commercial pottery, Cathy also takes custom pottery orders, executes hand-made tiles either for architecture or furniture, and both teaches and lectures.
